Due to its recognition as a health resort (Baltic Sea health resort or recreation areas), the municipality of Grömitz levies a health resort tax within the meaning of Section 10 (2) sentence 1 of the KAG for special advantages from the possibility of using the municipal health and recreation facilities and events. The health resort tax on the Ostseecard is also charged according to the applicable rates.
